Nigeria's new breed of radical Islam

In northern Nigeria there have been two attacks by muslim militants on local police stations, killing both police officers and other residents who apposed the attacks. Though radical Islamic groups are not uncommon Nigeria, and have spoken out in various protests before, only recently have they began committing violent acts in the name of Islam. The nigerian government is worried that violence is stemming from communal fundamentalist groups of young male muslims. These groups an intimidating force in Nigeria, largely comprisized of wealthy and middle class young men who are well educated.
