CBS fined $550,000 for Super Bowl Show

CBS was fined $550,000 by the FCC for Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" which exposed her breast during half time of the Super Bowl. The FCC voted unanimously to give each of the 20 CBS-owned stations the maximum penalty of $27,500. CBS quickly apologized to their viewers and insisted that the event was an accident. Because of this incident events such as the Grammys and the NFL pre-game show are now being telecast with a delay in order to avoid this from happening again.
