George Lucas' Education Foundation Launches Edutopia

George Lucas founded the Education Foundation in 1991 to "chronicle innovative practices in education." Edutopia, the foundations first magazine, will be published along with the academic calendar ten times a year. Each issue, geared toward educators, legislators, and parents, will include four to six major articles related to issues in education. The magazine will also feature articles on education reform, cutting-edge schools, and new developments in science, art, and technology.
