Egg Banks for Women a New Trend

A new company called Extend Fertility is opening egg banks across the country and women in their 30's and 40's are beginning to freeze eggs for future use. This trend is for working women who want to have children, but just don't have time right now in their lives. For about $15,000 they get the chance to wait until they are ready to have children. The problem is that there is little information known on how well this procedure will work and there isn't enough evidence to show if the eggs will be damaged in the freezing process or not. Scientists, however, seem hopeful that this process will soon be a regular process.
