Presidential Debates are Set

First Debate Begins September 30

- The two major campaigns in the presidential election came to agreement on the terms of the presidential debates yesterday, settling on three debates over the nest two weeks. The first is to be held at the University of Miami September 30, with the main focus being on foreign policy and homeland security. The second and third debates will be held at Washington University (MO) and Arizona State University, respectively, with the focus of the third debate being on economic and domestic policy. The second debate will be held in the "town hall meeting" style, where light supporters of each candidate will be able to pose their questions. The debates are expected to last 90 minutes each with a starting time of 9 PM ET/8 PM CT.
