Encyclopedias of Hispanic influence on U.S. culture created
The Encyclopedia of Latino Popular Culture is a two volume work created by two Arizona State University professors. They worked on the editions for three years to give an account of how Hispanics have made a dent to the United States literature, art, religion, sports, politics, and music along with many others. The encyclopedias focus on Mexicans, Cubans, and Puerto Ricans along with smaller parts for well-known other nationalities. The main reason the professors had to produce the encyclopedias was to break the stereotypes that many Americans still believe.
