Acupuncture for postoperative nausea

A study done on 75 women in North Carolina shows that acupuncture may help ease the nausea and vomiting for people after being under anesthesia better than people recieving an anti-nausea drug or those recieving no anti-nausea treatment. The patients that recieved the acupuncture had a more comfortable recovery from the anesthesia. Acupuncture also has fewer side effects than the anti-nausea drug.
