Enviroment Ministry Shows Apprecation for Participation in Car-Free Day

The Ministry of Rural Affairs and the Enviroment in Malta sponsored an exhaust-free and safer roads day on Wednesday. 35 countries around the world participated in the event, which showed an encouraging increase from previous years. The Malta government is taking ever-advancing steps to improve the enviromental condition of its country. The European Regional Development Fund has provided funds to be used for the purchase of air quality monitors for the country, which has delighted the Malta Medical Association who brought to light the increasing numbers of Maltans suffering from asthma.
