What About the War in Iraq?
The story is mostly about balancing the war in Iraq and the devastation of hurricane Katrina. The reporter asked if we can balance the two of them, or is it wrong to worry about another country when our country needs help. She reported that it wasn't fare that soldiers need to worry about fighting for another nation when they have family back home that are homeless and in dire need of help. She compares the effects of hurricane Katrina to the 9/11 attacks and states that during the 9/11 attacks we had our military here to help, but now they are preoccupied with the war in Iraq. She asked what is more important, the lives of our own people, or the lives of the people in Iraq?
