I'm going to start with something most of us can relate to in one way or another: SPORTS & TECHNOLOGY!

Using an article from MSN.com, I located an article called "High Tech Takes on Football".
The article goes into depth about the development of additional health and safety equipment for football players. It details the development of a special system called the HIT System that can digitally tell physicians, trainers, and coaches the extent of an injury.

It is currently being marketed by the developing company as the "Sideline Response System". 10 collegiate and high school teams are using the system this season.

It has been used for a couple seasons and has proven vital at the collegiate level.
