A Film Version of "The Da Vinci Code."

A film version is being made of the popular book, "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown. Brian Grazer will be producing the film, and Ron Howard will be directing. They decided on Tom Hanks as their choice to play the main character, Robert Langdon. The cast will also include many foreign actors to correspond with the foreign characters in the book. Grazer also had a hand in the film "Friday Night Lights," and produced the television show, "Arrested Development; both have been well received by the public. This article was very interesting to me because I read, and greatly enjoyed "The Da Vinci Code." It is not exactly big news, and is a pseudo-event particularly because it talks about something that has not happened yet. However, the article was entertaining and because of that, it is news-worthy.
