The AL Golden Men

There were nine American League baseball players awarded a Golden Glove award for their outstanding performances in defense. Among those players were Pitcher Kenny Rogers (3), Catcher Ivan Rodriguez (11), First Basemen Darin Erstad (3), Second Basemen Bret Boone (4), Thrid Basemen Eric Chavez (4), Short Stop Derek Jeter (1), Outfielder Ichiro Suzuki (4), Outfielder Torii Hunter (4), and Outfielder Vernon Wells (1). Ivan Rodriguez, the catcher for the Tigers, marks his 11th Golden Glove award, which broke the record currently held by Johnny Bench for the most Golden Glove's received by a catcher.
