Lebanon Says 35 Suspects Plotted Attacks

35 Arab men have been charged with plotting to bomb foreign targets in Lebanon, and the Italian and Ukrainian diplomatic missions. 9 of the 35 are in custody. The papers filed said that the men were planning to use car bombs and explosives in their attack. One of the men, Ahmed Salim Mikati, has allegedly tried to put Al Qaeda cells in Lebanon. If the men are found guilty they could face up to life in prison with hard labor.
