Environment Dept reassures over plutonium

Several vessels are schedualed to transport 300 pounds of weapons grade plutonium, from US nuclear warheads, from the US to France where it will be recycled into nuclear fuel. The Department of the Enviroment is assuring the Irish public that the ships will not enter Irish waters. The Irish Green party as well as Greenpeace are protesting the transport saying that the US and France gave no reason justifying the transport of such deadly cargo.
