Concern over "bird flu" takes hold in Europe
The concern over the bird flu is on the rise throughout European countries. A case of the bird flu was reported from Greece on Monday and has caused a rising interest in testing throughout Europe. Caused by the H5 virus, mainly the H5N1 strain, the alarming reality of bird flu is that the virus may very well mutate into a form that can be spread through human contact. In hopes of creating a vaccine, European officials are trying their hardest to prevent a pandemic occurrence.
