United States and Mexico Education Leaders Meet

Rod Paige, United States Secretary of Education, and Reyes Tamax Guerra, Mexico Sectretary of Public Education, met in Mexico City, Mexico on November 8th, 2004 to discuss methods to improve education. The Annex VIII to a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the United States and Mexico. This outlined the activities the two countries must follow. The focus of the memorandum is to strenghten educational opportunities, migrant education, launguage acquistion, eduactional technologies, and special edcuation. In addition, the memorandum was signed to renew the spirit of George W. Bush's No Child Left Behind policy.
