Stars Put on a Benifit Concert for Hurricane Victims

Actor Morgan Freeman opened a star-studded benefit concert to raise money for hurricane victims. Freeman assured viewers that the hurricane victims would bounce back. Nearly forty celebrities graced the stage at the University of Mississippi for a three hour-long concert. Singer Macy Gray was one celebrity to perform, along with Lance Bass, Faith Hill, and many more. The Benefit concert was called “Mississippi Rising” and was broadcasted on MSNBC and on local channels throughout Mississippi and Louisiana.
